Osteria translated in Italian literally means “a place where the owner hosts his guests.” At Osteria Cucina Rustica we follow in that tradition. Life long friends Steven Botta and Angelo Bongiovanni have collaborated to design and recreate an authentic Osteria. From the Exposed beams to the limestone plaster walls to the one hundred year old reclaimed wooden floors to the wood fired oven all combine to give an air of authenticity, warm atmosphere along with impeccable service and family recipes make for an unparalleled dining experience.

Angelo and Steven’s passion for tradition coupled with their flair for innovation along with years of culinary dedication, which began very early on in their mothers kitchen, is present in every detail and is evident in every bite, and inspires much of the menu.
Growing up in Brooklyn Steven and Angelo took many of the lessons learned early on and applied them to Osteria. While dining at Osteria you and your family are welcomed by our families just as if we invited you into our home. Our objective is to provide our guests with an experience that not only reminds one of a trip to Italy, but also keeps the traditions many of us grew up with alive.
We begin with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality all prepared to order using family recipes passed down from generation to generation, which is the basis for a astronomic experience that takes you on a culinary journey through the different regions of Italy. Whether you choose to dine inside, al fresco or the ultimate experience in our private wine room, you will be transported to a bygone era. It begins with the hospitality from the moment you walk through the iron forged entry doors. Next is the food where the love and attention to detail is present in every dish. From the house made pasta to the freshest seafood to the dry aged steaks and finally our unique desserts made daily by our pastry chef, which we believe will make our uniqueness discernible.
